Is it legal to sell alcohol at a private party?

Yes, provided that the person selling it holds a full Publicans license and a special event notice has been applied for and granted.

How do I get a special event licence?

You don't, our service includes dealing with all the licensing formalities on your behalf. However, we do need a minimum of six weeks notice to process the necessary applications.

Where can I hold my party?

Anywhere you wish. Our licences will allow us to sell alcohol at most locations, for example, your local village hall, community centre for back garden for a party or wedding reception, a field for a barbeque, even your office for the Christmas party.

However for outdoor events our large mobile trailer will need level standing and adequate access and turning space.

Although we usually run our equipment by generator for outdoor events, for back up purposes we may need access to a 12 volt power supply.

What do you sell?

We carry the most popular brands of beers, lager, cider, spirits and soft drinks. However, if you or your guests have a preference for something different, say a particular real ale, we will do our utmost to provide it for you.
